During your subscription, you can use our music for any project you create. Once you cancel your subscription, the music you have downloaded is no longer valid for future projects.

The projects you have created during your subscription have a license that is valid forever.

QUESTION?
On what platforms can I use my downloaded music?
ANSWER

Once subscribed, you can use your newly downloaded music on any online platform that showcases your project. These platforms include Youtube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Vimeo and Snapchat.

QUESTION?
Which subscription do I need when working on a large licensing project?
ANSWER

For our large clients with over $1,000,000 in revenue, please contact our sales team in regards to your licensing requirements. You can find our contact form here.

QUESTION?
Why did I receive a Youtube Content ID claim?
ANSWER

This is totally normal. Content ID is a tool used by Youtube to make sure the video creator using the music has the appropriate rights to do so. Although you may have received a Copyright Claim, this is just Content ID making sure you have the right to use the music.

EVERY song downloaded from Sound.com is available for use in your projects. Simply copy and paste this sentence: I have purchased a license to use this song from Sound.com and can show the appropriate documents to prove so. This will lift the claim. Once the claim is lifted, no harm whatsoever will fall upon your account.

QUESTION?
I am a musician - can I become an artist on the Sound.com website?
ANSWER

Unfortunately, no. Our music is very carefully chosen from some of the most renown composers in the world. The music in our library is sought out, not accepted.
